"Miss
Jane makes my toes sing!"—Carmen
Agra Deedy, author and storyteller

Miss Jane passes on her love of books and storytelling to
students in college and kindergarten through the eighth grade
at Berry College Elementary School.
When she has finished telling a story,
the question both college and elementary students ask -- Is
that true, Miss Jane?
Miss Jane always replies that there is a truth in
every story for the listener.
"Miss Jane has so many stories she will
never run out. I bet she has as much fun telling the stories
as we do listening to them! We hope library time will grow
and we will spend more time with stories and books."—Ashley
E. Anglin, Student Writer, Rome News Tribune
