"Miss Jane has been most instrumental in accelerating our students' writing progress at Berry College Elementary School. Through introducing storytelling as a prewriting tool in our writing workshop, Miss Jane has helped our students better organize, develop and express their ideas in writing. She has enabled our young writers to make an important link between oral and written language."—Lori Frederick (1st grade teacher), Janda Canalis (2nd grade teacher), Cindy Beasley (3rd grade teacher)

Jane Owen Cunningham graduated Cum Laude from Mississippi University for Women and received her Masters degree in Early Childhood Education from Berry College in Georgia.

She has taught first grade, kindergarten, preschool and creative workshops for children in public schools and for private organizations for 30 years.

Presently she is employed at Berry College Elementary School 3 days a week as the librarian for kindergarten through the eighth grade.

"Miss Jane, I love your stories. I shared them with my family and they loved them."—Ashley Armstrong,  Elementary School Student

"All who participated in your workshop session had nothing but praise for the subject matter and the hands-on experience."—Gloria Patterson. Pioneer Regional Educational Service Agency
