Jane has been most instrumental in
accelerating our students' writing
progress at Berry College
Elementary School. Through introducing storytelling as a
prewriting tool in our writing workshop,
Miss Jane has helped our students better organize,
develop and express their
ideas in writing. She has enabled our young writers to
make an important link between oral and written language."—Lori

Jane Owen Cunningham graduated
Cum Laude from Mississippi University for
Women and received her Masters degree in
Early Childhood Education from Berry College
in Georgia.
She has taught first grade, kindergarten, preschool and
creative workshops for children in public schools and for
private organizations for 30 years.
Presently she is employed at Berry College
Elementary School 3 days a week as the librarian for kindergarten
through the eighth grade.
